"And be kind to one another, tenderhearted,
forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you."
(Ephesians 4:32)
I came across a story last week that really spoke to me. This story powerfully illustrates the blessings of being kind:
"A man was working in a frozen fish factory. One day, while busy with his work, he accidentally closed the freezer door and found himself inside. Trapped, he began to scream for help, but the workday was over, and there was no longer a soul in the factory. Faced with this chilling reality, he understood that he was about to die of cold. However, at an unexpected moment, the security guard opened the freezer door, saving his life from a certain and terrible death. Intrigued, the factory manager asked the guard, 'How did you know he was still inside and that he had not left with the others?'
