Hell Lost Another One

Hell Lost Another One

When we share the good news of Jesus and His love, we are giving
people the only hope that satisfies for both now and eternity.

Hell Lost Another One

"I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance."

(Luke 15:7)

The Christian band, Maverick City Music, has a new song out, and it is so good. It is upbeat and as you can see in the video, it calls for dancing and rejoicing. The name of the song is "I Thank God", and you can watch it here:
Here are some of the lyrics, including my favorite line, "hell lost another one":

He picked me up
Turned me around
Placed my feet on solid ground
I thank the Master
I thank the Savior
Because He healed my heart
Changed my name
Forever free, I'm not the same
I thank the Master
I thank the Savior
Oh, I thank God
Oh, I thank God
Oh, I thank God
Oh, I thank God
Hell lost another one
I am free, I am free, I am free
Hell lost another one
I am free, I am free, I am free
Hell lost another one
I am free, I am free, yes I am free
Hell lost another one
I am free, I am free, I am free

Jesus teaches us that there is joy in heaven when a sinner repents on earth. I wonder what that looks like? Could it look a little like what we see in the video? Dancing, smiling, bouncing up and down? I am sure joy in heaven makes joy on earth look very tame.

Let us go and tell people about Jesus today and give heaven a reason to throw a party. When we share the good news of Jesus and His love, we are giving people the only hope that satisfies for both now and eternity. When God saved you, hell lost another soul. Do you believe that? Does your life reflect that truth?

With our lips and our lives, let us tell others about King Jesus so hell loses many more!
