"Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep."

(Romans 12:15)

When the chorus of Katy Nichole's song "In Jesus' Name" hit TikTok, it went viral. The song was heard 80 million times! She along with other writers finished out the song, and now it has been heard 150 million times. Katy has gone through so many hard times in her 21 years of living. She has had scoliosis and multiple surgeries. She has battled depression and yet felt the power and peace of God. She is one who has wept, and through her pain, God has granted her the ability to serve and help others. She has given the world a very powerful song. It has also been exactly what I needed to hear recently. Ashley and I have listened to it over and over. I invite you to click the link below and just soak up this message in song. For some, it will be exactly what you need. I believe God will use it to speak life and hope to your thirsty soul. Many of you reading this devotion today were hoping to hear from God. Maybe something in this message will lighten your load and bring some peace. Get ready to be blessed and to have your hurts assuaged in Jesus' name.

For others, the song will not mean quite as much because you are not walking through a valley right now. You are up on the mountain, and that is fantastic. I rejoice with you and celebrate the victories the Lord has granted you.

I love the biblical text at the top of today's devotion. Paul commands the Church to do two things. We are to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. It is a blessing to have people in your life who genuinely celebrate with you when you have a victory or a breakthrough. And it is also very comforting to have those in your life who care for you enough to weep when you weep. They love you so much and desire only the best for you. When trouble and tragedy strike, these dear friends literally weep with you.

I pray for you in Jesus' name that the God of the possible will encourage you and grant to you the breakthrough you are longing to experience.
