made about him after he died. People like Tim Tebow, John Maxwell, Lecrae, and Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany spoke so highly of Ravi and the influence he had on them and their walk with Christ. McEnany obtained her undergraduate degree from Georgetown, during which time she studied abroad at Oxford, before later obtaining her law degree from Harvard. McEnany wrote about how much Ravi's teaching helped her while her faith was being attacked at Oxford. So many people have paid him high respect and many compliments. His life impacted millions for Christ.
Michael Ramsden, president of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries, had a visit with Ravi in person toward the end of his life. Ramsden wrote, "His message to us was very clear: Keep following Christ, keep preaching the Gospel." Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence, wrote this: "Upon the death of Abner, the Bible tells us David said, 'Do you not know that a prince and a great man has fallen today?' Ravi was such a man, and he will be missed. Karen and I send our deepest sympathies to his family and know he heard, 'Well done good and faithful servant.'"
I hope your enthusiasm level has been raised by today's devotion, as we have seen wonderful examples in the lives of Paul, Barnabus, and Ravi Zacharias. Perhaps you do not feel very enthused; you have much on your mind, and trouble has invaded your heart. Let me encourage you to do as 1 Peter 5:7 so clearly instructs us, "Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you."
Tomorrow we will look further into this subject of enthusiasm.
